2011
Phase V
Cabernet Sauvignon
The bouquet is heavily perfumed with heady spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom with a fresh undercurrent of ripe red and black fruit. The entry is pleasantly bright and fresh with vibrant acidity. The structure is punctuated by a classic sweet ripe Calistoga tannin that leads into a dense, well integrated, yet powerful volume on the palate. The finish lasts well after the wine is gone with flavors of coco, casis, caramel and blackberries. A wine that is truly delicious.
